What My Clients Say About Our classes
The Ancient Wisdom Of Yoga
Yoga is one of the oldest and perhaps the most comprehensive form of keeping the body fit and healthy.
Developed over 4,000 years ago by yogis and sages in ancient India, it consists of various postures called ‘Asanas,’ held for various lengths of time. Most of the postures can be performed by the majority of people. Contrary to the belief that yoga involves tying yourself up in knots, they can be learned quickly and easily in a class situation. ‘Asanas’ means literally a position held comfortably, and the way that real yoga is to be done is gently and comfortably.
Rather than leaving you worn out like other sports, you can emerge from your yoga session feeling much more relaxed and energized. The main benefit of yoga, however, is the impact that it has on the mind. Through the manipulation of the body’s glands, it helps to calm not only the body but also the mind.
Integrating ancient yoga wisdom and practices with the science of functional movements brings outstanding results.
