Learn how posture affects the body and what to do about it. The quickest way to fatigue and stress the body out is the way we hold ourselves, stand, sit and walk. In other words, our daily posture, the way we transition, sit, and stand affects the way our body responds and feels.

Posture and The Body

Posture can affect how our body feels. Therefore, if your body is out of center of gravity you load parts of the body that are not made for supporting the extra weight. In the spine each vertebra has four joints and ligaments that connect to bones. Therefore, one of the things that can happen is that ligaments can become overstretched. Likewise, it’s important to make sure that we are sitting in a proper position, this means sitting on our sits bones, because that what they were made for. Furthermore, the average person is sitting for twelve hours a day and that is far too long. Therefore, imbalances occur in the body. As a result, these imbalances degenerate the body that is supposed to last for the duration of our lifetime.
